KEYSER – Aysha Joelle Altizer, 23, passed away on Friday, 13 October 2017, in Keyser, WV.
Born on February 4, 1994 in Santa Clara, CA to Gerald Altizer and Mary Ann Lorenzo.
Graduated from Mountain Ridge High School in 2012. Worked as Retail Sales Representative in Maryland, Sales Clerk in California, and Retail Store Manager in New York. She loved painting, occasional knitting, and poem writing.
Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents (G. Wilson and Evelyn Ruth Altizer), maternal grandparents (Burcardo and Rafaela Lorenzo), aunt (Elizabeth Yee), uncles (Collin and Rafael Lorenzo, and Afrodesio Yee), and cousin (Eugene Ravelo Jr.), along with several other relatives.
Survived by her parents, as well as her stepfather (JC Sarmiento), sister (Melanie Altizer), and half-sisters (Tammy Catterton and Amanda Gomez with her fiancé David Castillo).
Paternal aunts and uncles (Dale Altizer, Sharon Elaine Davidson, and Kathy Robinson with her husband Gary), cousins (Diane and Danny Davidson and Kenneth Robinson), and nieces and nephews (Brianna Neese, Alyssa Catterton, Dylan Gomez, Nevaeh and Evan Castillo).
Maternal step-grandmother (Florencia Lorenzo), aunts and uncles (Pedro Yee, Lagrimas Ong, Amalia Papas with her husband Romy, Burcardo Lorenzo, Jr. with wife Arlene, Liza Lagrada with husband Reynaldo, and Edgardo Dondon Lorenzo), and several cousins, nieces, and nephews in the Philippines.
Aysha loved animals and adored her dogs; she is survived by Mr. Cole and Sienna.
Family will receive friends at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Wednesday, 18 October 2017 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, 19 October 2017 @ 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
