CRESAPTOWN — Dominique Marie Cozatt Taylor, 33, passed away on May 22, 2017, at her home in Cresaptown, Maryland.
Dominique is survived by her six-year-old daughter, Stella Marie Taylor; spouse, James A. Taylor; father, John Cozatt; mother, Tonya Cozatt; and 18-year-old sister, Keana Cozatt. In addition, Dominique is survived by her grandparents, Richard and Donna Junkins and Bonnie Foor. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dominique was born on February 19, 1984, in Cumberland, MD. She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and then went on to graduate from Potomac State College. In 2009, she went on to graduate magna cum laude from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor’s degree in economics. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Award from Allegany County Chamber of Commerce/Rotary Club, the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key (highest grade point average in the College of Business), and she was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma – International Business Honor Society. Dominique had just started working for the Boy Scouts of America in Cresaptown, a job she was extremely excited to begin.
Friends and family will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, MD 21502, on Monday, May 29, 2017, from 11am to 12pm. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the funeral home at 12pm.
The private graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Keyser, WV.
