Jeffrey Charles Liller, 64, of Keyser, WV, formerly of Rawlings, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the Western Maryland Health System.
Born in Cumberland, MD on January 31, 1953, he was the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Malone) Liller. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Liller.
Jeff was a graduate of Allegany High School, class of 1971. Following high school, Jeff began his career with Stroehmann Bakery. To most of his customers, he was fondly referred to as the “Bread Man.” He was employed there until his retirement. Jeff was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a University of Maryland Basketball fan. Most of all, Jeff enjoyed spending time at his Camp Reslus, in Sector, WV.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 17 years, Roxann Roberts, whom he married on June 7, 2000; three step sons, Troy Graves and wife Mandy, Keyser, Matthew Graves, Jersey City, NJ, and Adam Graves and wife Melissa, Keyser; three grandchildren, Connor, Ryan, and Addison Graves; brother, Kenneth Liller and wife Jackie, Cumberland; sister-in-law, Joyce Liller, Rawlings; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Friday, February 2, 2018, from 4-8 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2 P.M. Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral service with Pastor Chester Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Biertown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Liller, Justin Liller, Kenny Liller, Scott Wharton, Dave Wharton, and Adam Wharton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those who would like to honor Jeff’s memory do so by making contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
