Cumberland—Lisa Dawn (Seifert) May, 55, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, Christmas Day, with her brother holding her hand.

Born in Cheverly, MD on December 16, 1962, she was the daughter of Richard Seifert and wife Kathy of Salisbury, MD, and the late Lucille Pearl (Ralston) Seifert. In addition to her mother, Lisa was also preceded in death by her former husband, Gary Ellis May.

A graduate of Fort Hill High School class of 1980, Lisa was employed at Hagenbuch’s Restaurant, Bell Atlantic as a telephone operator, and most recently at the Lions Center in Cumberland. Lisa will be remembered by anyone who knew her as kind, caring person who put the needs of others before her own.

Lisa is survived by her children, Andy Seifert and Shawn May and fiancée Holly Torbet; grandchildren, Skyla, Kayne, Maddox Seifert, and Jaiden and Grayson May; brother Kirk Seifert; companion, Glen Twigg; dear friend and family member, Charles “Radar” Goetz; uncles, Ronnie Ralston and Jeanette, and Chuck Ralston.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 1-2 P.M. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 P.M. with Chaplain Brent Thornton officiating.
