CRESAPTOWN – Mary Agnes Wolford, 89, of Cresaptown, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017.

Born in Lonaconing, MD on May 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Annie L. (Llewellyn) Beeman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hollie Wolford in 1982; brothers, Galen and Edison Beeman; sisters, Iva Spiker and Leah Northcraft.

Mary was a 1946 graduate of Central High School in Lonaconing.  Mary retired from the Memorial Hospital where she was a cook for many years. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Cresaptown. Mary enjoyed traveling to West Virginia to the peach orchards, and spending time at her second home in Augusta West Virginia.

Surviving Mary are her step-sons, Gary Wolford, Cresaptown, and Rick Wolford, OK; sisters, Althea Shaw, LaVale, Norma Brode, and husband Paul, both of Lonaconing; and sister-in-law, Edna Beeman.

Family will receive friends at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until noon.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, at noon, with Reverend Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Malick Cemetery, Augusta, WV.
