Cumberland – Rosalie Susanna Dunn, 79, of Cumberland passed away on Monday, January 8 in her home.

Born November 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Wakefose) Goad.  She was also preceded in death by her son Bryan Patrick Dunn, and two brothers.

Rosalie was a 1955 graduate of Allegany High School. She was employed for 25 years at First National Bank retiring in 2004. Her hobbies were reading, gardening, traveling, and visiting her special friend, Manilla Coker, in the nursing home for many years.  But, most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family, and pets Amos and Andy.

Surviving is her husband, James. This year would have been their 60th wedding anniversary. Four children Kelly Mackie and husband Tim, Cumberland; James “Fitz” Dunn, Washington DC and girlfriend Yvette Cardone, New York City; Kerry Dunn, Washington, DC; Thomas Dunn, Michigan. Four grandchildren, Bradey Loffert, Raleigh Davis and husband Richard, Morgantown; Haven Mackie, Cumberland; Jenna Dunn, Michigan.  Numerous nieces and nephews. As well as her “adopted son” Mitchell Cline.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home.  A private interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In honor of Rosalie’s memory, the family requests donations be made to Devlin Manor, 10301 Christie Road NE, Cumberland, MD 21502, where her friend Manilla lives.
