Frostburg—Susan L. Jackson, 73, of Frostburg, formerly of Canton, OH, and Plymouth Meeting, PA, passed Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Frostburg Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Conshohocken, PA, on May 11, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Florence Schrecongost and William Lamon.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Norm” H. Jackson; and an uncle, James Taylor.

Susan was a graduate of Conshohocken High School, class of 1962.  Following high school, Susan was a bank teller in Conshohocken. Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by a son, Keith N. Jackson and Lisa Patterson, Rawlings; a grandson, Brandon K. Jackson, Short Gap, WV; and her cousins, Noreen Zilinski, Levittown, PA, and Barry Taylor, Pipersville, PA.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Valley Forge Cemetery in King of Prussia, PA, on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11 A.M.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Angela and her staff for the wonderful, kind, and compassionate service they gave their mother during her stay at the Frostburg Assisted Living Center.

The family has requested that their friends and family members refrain from sending flowers; those desiring to honor Susan’s memory may do so by making contributions to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, 716 Furnace Street, Cumberland, MD 21502.
