CUMBERLAND – Vivian May Turner, 76, of Cumberland, departed this life on April 27, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Meyersdale, PA.

Born on June 13, 1940, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Edna and Paul Cruthers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Sandra and Phyllis Cruthers.

Vivian was a stay-at-home mother who loved her kids very much. She was a member of the Friendship Haven Chapel. She loved to play card games and puzzle books.

Surviving Vivian are her brother, David Cruthers; daughters, Linda Sponaugle and husband Glenn, Sandra Lewis and husband John Christopher, Pauline Turner and special friend Andrew Powell, Jr.; son, Paul McKenney; grandchildren, Carrie DeVore and husband Donald, Wayne Sorrells II, Tracey Logue, Samantha Lewis, Michelle Lewis, Emma Lewis, Robert Broadwater, Jr., Hawk Powell, Andrew Powell III and mother of his children, Sierra Pettie, Ashley Powell; great-grandhildren, Glenda Herrell (Rella Easton) and son Raymond, David Smouse, Devin Sorrells, Owen Broadwater, Destiny DeVore, Donald DeVore, Jr., Ayden Powell, Aliyah Powell, and Aeryn Powell.

Vivian will be missed by so many people.

Family and friends will be received for a memorial service at the Friendship Haven Chapel, 22 N Mechanic Street, Cumberland on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4 – 6 p.m.
